This page contains rules and permissions related to shared works, both fan-made and original.

RULES

The following statements apply across all works regardless of whether they are read:

  • Web scraping by artificial intelligence (A.I.), or any process of extracting data from the contents of this author's fanworks for the purpose of use with A.I. is strictly prohibited.
  • Any data collection, content aggregation, or use of content in this collection in any way for training datasets or machine learning models is strictly prohibited.
  • Plagiarism of any form is strictly prohibited.

All works herein are purely fictional. All intellectual property belongs to its rightful owners. The characters, events, and places within these works are not meant to be representative of any existing people, events, or places, respectively. Characters based on public personae are not meant, nor intended, to be an accurate representation of any real persons from the past, present, nor future.

This blanket permission statement is subject to change at any time; however, changes will never apply retroactively. I reserve the right to ultimately allow or deny permissions relating to use of my fanworks.

Regarding My Fanworks

Transformative Fanworks of My Fanworks

Allowed

As long as they link back to the original work and proper credit is given, the following personal use / non-commercial transformative works are allowed: fan art, fan-bound books / booklets, fan edits, fanmixes, podfics, and translations※.

Regarding fan-binding, please handbind only; do not bind my fanworks through printers, distributors, and/or publishing companies, especially not those who reference copyright in their terms of service.

Attributing

Please credit me as lovesverses. This is pronounced as the phrase “love’s verses”. If there happen to be multiple lovesverses in existence, please credit me as lovesverses’ bonnie and include a link to the work.

Sharing

If you are posting your transformative work to the Archive of Our Own (AO3) or SquidgeWorld Archive (SqWA), please make it a related work. If your transformative work is being posted elsewhere, link back to the original work. Regarding podfics, please do not distribute to services such as Apple, Google, Spotify, and so on, especially not services that mention and/or claim copyright of works. ※ Translations of E-rated K-Pop RPF works into Korean are not allowed.

Reasoning

Between both artistes and fans, there is a mutual, fictionalised space that contains and separates certain fictions, fantasies, and so on from reality; I do not want my works to cross this boundary. There has been a shocking decrease in respect in interactions with artistes within fan-culture. This is particularly alarming concerning what is asked of and shared with (or imposed upon) artistes (such as at fanmeets, in the comments of livestreams, and so on). Until I find this has changed positively, I will not lift this prohibition. I do not want people who do not enthusiastically consent to viewing this work to come into contact with it.

If you feel inclined to support the artistes after engaging with my works, however, that would be lovely.

TL;DR: just because i'm a freak about imaginary scenarios doesn't mean i want to share them in any form outside of a very specific and consenting circle of individuals who Match My Freak.

Conditions

  • All transformative fanworks must be human creations. No generative artificial intelligence (generative A.I.) allowed.
  • All transformative fanworks must be shared in publicly-accessible, non-monetised, fandom-friendly spaces.
  • Multiple people may create transformative fanworks; no one may claim exclusive rights to the original fanwork(s).

Disallowed

  • Do not remix my fanworks.
  • Do not create recursive works (such as sequels, prequels, plot divergences, and so on).
  • Do not use my fanworks in commercial projects.
  • Do not use my fanworks in for-profit projects.
  • Do not feed my fanworks to A.I., especially not generative A.I.
  • Do not feed my fanworks to machine learning models.
  • Do not repost my fanworks to other sites. I will post them to sites that allow and respect creative fanwork.

Archival Permissions

If I have been inactive on fandom-friendly or fannish platforms for over seven years, my transformative works policy regarding my fanworks holds: assume anything not explicitly allowed is disallowed. My fanworks may be archived in fandom-friendly spaces that are publicly available (or otherwise not locked behind a paywall) where they must be credited to me as lovesverses’ bonnie. All my fanworks must remain freely accessible.

Comments and Reviews

Comments are always welcome! Whether an emoji or an essay, do as you see fit so long as you are respectful. As the adage goes: flames will be used to make smores. Derogatory comments will be treated with proportionately to the severity of offence.

Unsolicited criticism is not welcome. I did it on purpose. Sharing concerns about tagging, content warnings, etc., is encouraged. Please share such concerns here so they are not lost.

Reviews are allowed on personal blogs, in comments, in bookmarks on AO3 and/or SqWA, wherever you would like with the following exception: do not add and review my fanworks on sites such as Goodreads that are intended for published work and/or for-profit/commercial work. If curious about this stance, please see one of many great debacles. Do not mention my works on sites that are not fandom-friendly, fandom-centred, fannish, or otherwise reference copyright and/or ownership in their terms of service.

If it purposely incorporates my do-not-wants in any fashion, even tangentially or through implication, I reserve the right to, and will, reject it.

The Big E

In the case of death, coma, or incapacitation that otherwise renders me unable to give permissions regarding my works, all rights to my original fiction will be transferred to my partner or my siblings. If the aforementioned individuals are similarly incapacitated for whatever reason, my original works will immediately go into the public domain. Go with God, baby! All my works must remain freely accessible.
